We open registration May 1st of each school year. Please apply before August. We open our applications May 1st and the earlier you apply, the better. Applications are approved more quickly before the August rush, and we’ll have more time to address any difficulties/problems. We enroll through much of the current school year (ending March 31st); however it may be up to 2 weeks before we can review and approve your application.

Gateway students transferring to public or private schools may be required to take grade-level-placement or end-of-course tests to receive credit. Tennessee law states that "The state board of education and local boards of education shall not prohibit or impede the transfer of a student from a church-related school to a public school of this state." (TCA, Section 49-50-801c)

Gateway’s diploma is regarded by Tennessee state law as equivalent to a public school diploma. Our graduates have been accepted by colleges/universities across the state as well as such prestigious institutions as Harvard, West Point, and the U.S. Naval Academy.
