ELECTIVES
Electives are courses other than core requirements. They allow students to earn credit for their work in pursuing special interests or subjects that would help their future plans.
An elective could be additional credit(s) in a subject after required credit(s) are completed. For example, if a student had fulfilled the 3 required science credits, and wanted to take another, the fourth science would be considered an elective.
An elective could also be a unique subject such as Home Economics, Auto Mechanics, or Computer Applications. Some ideas for inspiration are listed below. Of course, there are many more possibilities than can fit here, so if your interest isn’t listed, please give us a call or email. We’d love to discuss it with you!
Electives with an asterisk may also fulfill a graduation requirement.
Be inspired!
